The 2025 Bowl for Bethesda “Strikes to End Homelessness” event is our twelfth year of providing an evening of fun for bowlers and help for our homeless population in Schenectady County. Every dollar we raise is used for programs that bring a measure of dignity and kindness to our vulnerable citizens.

Registration Fee is $15 per bowler, which covers the cost of shoes and lanes from Boulevard. Each Bowler must raise at least $100. Team sign-ups and t-shirt sizes are due April 25th. If you do not register by the 25th, we cannot guarantee your proper t-shirt size. 

Turkey and Lane Sponsorships are due by April 18th.

We hold the event at Boulevard Bowl, a very generous and committed business in Schenectady. Bowlers can go home with a medal to commemorate their team or individual success at the event. We even serve pizza, the best bowling food according to our participants!

If your giving program includes helping to end homelessness in Schenectady County, we’d greatly appreciate your support by sponsoring a team or lane. The levels of sponsorship we offer are:

• Turkey Sponsor $500 – your name will be on the event t-shirt and named in
  the Bethesda House Newsletter sent to our donors and supporters. This does not include a team sign-up to bowl
• Lane Sponsor $250 – your name will be displayed as a supporter at the event. This does not include a team sign-up to bowl.
• Corporate Team – you can also put together a bowling team representing your business. Each team of 5 players brings a $500 donation to the event. You can do this in addition to being a turkey or lane sponsor.
  
  

Being a Bowler -  any person who wants to help BH by being a bowler will either be assigned to a team, or form their own team. Each team pays $500 which may be by an individual or business, or each team member raises $100 to contribute to the team effort. Players must also pay $15 for registration, shoes and lane use. TEAM CAPTAINS – you can assemble your own team and raise the $500 entry yourself, ask your team members to contribute, or ask your employer to sponsor the team.

Opening its doors 33 years ago as a drop-in coffee house, Bethesda House began its first residential program in 2002 under the “housing first” model, providing immediate assistance to people needing a safe environment, good nutrition and a place to rest. We also help clients and guests learn life skills, ob tain psychological and medical counseling and provide them with services for a dignified life.
